Operation limits
Principally our wooden propellers have a great operating safety margin.
We assume warranty for the specified purpose on purchase of the propeller. If you want to change the engine, input power, rotary speed of the propeller, the aircraft or any other part of the drive system, you should directly contact us first.
We will give you advice then, whether the propeller still fits for the planned change.
Principally the maximum rotary speed of our wooden fixed pitch propellers is 4,000 1/min. Except for those propellers of course, which are explicitly delivered for higher rotary speed (e.g. direct drive).
As you have read at the beginning of this catalog, we exercise great care on the manufacturing of your propeller. Nevertheless there may, even under severest quality control, occur defects, which we use to settle extremely fair.
We assume full guarantee for all our products according to our business terms. We cannot assume liability in cases, when we do not have enough or imprecise information.
Usually this is the case with new drives and/or new aircrafts. In these cases the constructor of the aircraft is responsible for the adjustment of the drive. Often, however, we have delivered a propeller for your aircraft once already and therefore know, which propeller fits for you.
Among about totally 10,400 delivered propellers by end of the year 2007 there were only very few cases, when we could not find an adequate solution.
